A Warm Thanksgiving

We went down to Dallas this Thanksgiving to spend it with with John and his family. We went to the Great Wolf Lodge for dinner - so fun, and soooo good!

Sorry turkey, but you got pushed aside for some yummy prime rib!

We had the best server EVER. She put all the adults at one table and all the kids (all NINE of them) at another table and pretty much babysat them the entire time. By the time we left we were giving her hugs like she was part of our family :)
On black Friday we passed over the sales and played at the tree farm with all the fun bouncy toys instead.
We are very thankful that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with my awesome brother and his wonderful family. Can't wait for our next trip down to the great state of Texas, which will actually be in a few weeks when my SIL has her baby. Yay! :)

Prime rib over turkey any day :) Oh and bounce houses over shopping on Black Friday any day.

I love the idea of a restaurant for Thanksgiving...my family did it once when I was the only kid left at home.

Oh it sounds so wonderful. Emi has the same facial expressions you do. It's so cute.

Prime rib? I guess that's Texas. We're sorry you weren't all here, but glad you were able to get together in Dallas.
