Well, it's time to say good-bye to 2010. It is hard to believe that we have lived in Oklahoma for a little over a year now.
Brian's job duties are constantly changing, and 2010 was no exception. It keeps him busy and motivated to work hard. We are anxious to see what changes come in 2011.
I (Jamie, obviously) spent the year being a typical busy mom. The biggest change this year is probably having 3 kids going to and coming back from school all at different times. It doesn't leave much down-time. I started off the year training for the OKC marathon with a local running group, but had to quit for a couple of reasons. I am going to start training again next month with my friend for the 2011 marathon and hope that it goes better this year.
Kali turned 12 and is a typical pre-teen. She steals my clothes, my shoes, is constantly texting her friends, and is always reading a book.
Caleb turned 8 this year and is a typical 3rd-grade boy. Nothing makes him happier than running around with his "dudes." His biggest blessing this year has been moving across the street from a boy his age from our ward, and also next door to a boy who enjoys playing the wii as much as Caleb does. We recently discovered that he has a photographic memory, which comes in handy for those spelling tests, since he can just close his eyes and see the words written on the white-board at school.
Emi has also had a big year. She started kindergarten and has grown a lot since starting school. But that doesn't change the fact that she is, and will always be, my baby! She is still quiet and shy. She still loves animals and hates babies (dolls or live ones), although she is not quite so terrified of them as she once was.
We already have lots of exciting things planned for 2011, and we are looking forward to a great year ahead. Now if it could only not go by so fast!

Santa's elf (aka "Jamie") worked on Kali's desk each night in the freezing garage for at least the week leading up to Christmas to make sure it was perfect for her. It turned out terrific.

It does look like you had a good Christmas but I bet it would have been better if you could have been here with us!!! We missed you lots. We need you to come here soon so we can learn how to play Killer Bunnies because my parents got it for Christmas.
Caleb has a photographic memory?? That's not going to be fun to argue with when you need to convince him you're right and he's not. Looks like a fun Christmas. Missed you guys a lot this year!!
It made me laugh when I read that Emmy does not like babies...live ones. Kind of funny. :) We hope to get together with you guys some time this year! We are pretty much neighbors compared to the rest of the family.
