Washington DC 2016

I was able to tag along on another trip with Brian again, this time to DC. I love that place. We lucked out, since the cherry blossoms bloomed just in time for our arrival. We went through most of the Smithsonian museums, but really, you need like two months to be able to see everything there. My favorite was probably the star-bangled banner. It was huge, much larger than I had imagined.

Ford's Theater, where Lincoln was shot. Across the street is where he died. And china town is just around the corner, and this building, which is now a Chinese restaurant, is where John Wilkes Booth rented an apartment at the time he shot and killed President Lincoln.

Museum of natural history.
